He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph John Stephens Sr. and Theresa Dunn Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, John Stephens (Karen) of Gurnee, IL, Laura Sherman (Steve) of Chesterfield, MO and Scott Stephens (Jodie) of Des Moines, IA; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jim, Clarine, Matthew Stephens, Sara, Thomas (TJ), Jessica Sherman, Drew, Sam, Joe and Kyra Stephens; and his siblings, Carol Hardman and Larry Stephens (Jan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista or Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
