He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Prescher and Caroline Haberman Prescher; his siblings, Bessie King, Anita Blocker and Ernest George Prescher (Ernie); and his brothers-in-law, Norbert Hoedebeck and Ed King.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred; his children, Melody Kinsel (Randy) of Rogers, Arkansas, Kenny Prescher (Mary) of Haslett and Kevin Prescher of Houston, Texas; his sister Marie Hoedebeck of Wylie; his sister-in-law Jolene Prescher; and his grandchildren, Kristy Kinsel, Blake Prescher, Phillip Prescher, Kimberly Prescher and Jonathan Prescher. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home (221 W 5th St, Rusk, TX 75785). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made for the upkeep of Russell Cemetery.
