He is survived by: his parent Rosemarie McDonald of Norwell, MA; his wife Pauline; his sister Annemarie (Christopher McKay) of Norwell, MA; his sons, Robert McDonald (Alyssa Bruce) of Rogers, AR and Daniel McDonald of Bella Vista, AR; his stepson Matthew Preston of Nashua, NH; and his nieces and nephews, Patrick Sullivan, Jack McKay, Conor McKay of Norwell, MA, Madeline and Summer McKay of Norwell, MA.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be made in John's honor to UGA Miracle, a charity very close to his heart.
