He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest and Marion; and his brothers, Jack and Bill. He is survived by: his wife Shaunna; his sons, Jason and John; his grandsons, Shane and Chase of New York; and his sisters, Judy Malejs of Oregon and Patricia Cronkwright of Bella Vista.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.
