She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Jooss and Magdalena Jooss; her husband Heinz Carl Hoffman; her daughter Barbara Helen Churchman; her grandchildren, Jerry DeMolet, Scott Walker and Susie Churchman; and her great grandchild Anya Walker.

She is survived by: her siblings, Wilma and Albert; her children, Connie Brooks (Tom) of Bella Vista, Pat Walker (Max) of Pittsburg, Susan Sturgill of Eastport and John Hoffman of Bella Vista; her grandchildren, Mike Boling, Carissa Crawford, Torrey Walker, Jim Churchman, Barbie Churchman, John DeMolet, Brian DeMolet, Tim DeMolet and Tina Sullivan; and her nieces, Helen Kenzig and Peg Lindsay.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Leukemia Society or Childhood Cancer Society.
