He is survived by: his wife Annette Cowell (DeVeny) of Bella Vista, Arkansas; his children, Cindi (Cowell), Jerry Eastman of Hudson, Greg and Lynn Cowell (Martin) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Courtney (McBride), Matt McKinley of Cedar Falls, Chelsea McBride of Waterloo, Whitney (Eastman), Drew Wilson of Waterloo, Zachary, Shelby Cowell of Bangor Maine, Mariah (Cowell), Danielle Mercier and Madison Cowell of Lynchburg, Virginia; his great grandchildren, Emmett and Eila Wilson of Waterloo, Iowa; and his siblings, Jane Hancock (Cowell) of Waterloo, Colleen (Cowell), Pat Roberts of Cedar Falls, Jeff, Esther Cowell of Waterloo and Carol Cowell of Bella Vista, Arkansas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
