He is survived by: his children, Nick Burton of Colorado Springs and Shayna Burton of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandsons, Liam and Maxwell Minshall of Kansas City; his mother Coleen Cumberland (Verl) of Bella Vista; his sister Shantel Burton of Gladstone; his stepbrother Chris Cumberland of Houston; his nieces and nephews, Regan (Nathan Pool), Michael (Michelle Cumberland), Meghan (Cole Sherry) and Kasey Condeni of Gladstone; his great-nephews, Brayden and Calvin; his great-niece Maia; and his pet Maxx.

He loved riding his Harley and attended many rallies, including Sturgis, Bikes Blues and BBQ and especially charity rides.
