It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cordell Schmidt of Bella Vista, Arkansas, born in Battle Creek, Iowa, who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter William Schmidt and Helma Schultz Schmidt; his former wife Carol Schmidt; and his siblings, Burdette and Gerald Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Krystal Ann Schmidt; his sons, Craig Schmidt (Marsha) of Garfield and Curtis Schmidt of Joplin; his brother Ron Schmidt of Oxford, Florida; his grandchildren, Jamie Schmidt (Jessica), Michael Geary and Colby Nepper; and his great grandchildren, Leila Joy, Taytum and Jaxdan.
