She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Merkel and Lola Merkel; and her siblings, Joyce, Marilyn and Jarae.
She is survived by: her husband Roland Buechler; and her children, Carol Wright of Little Rock and Todd Buechler (Nita) of Greenville. She is also survived by her friends and family.
