He is survived by: his wife Wilma Mae Starr; his children, Walter Starr II (Keesha) of Leland, NC, Dennis Mitchell, Robert Mitchell (Muriel), Crystal Starr Jones (Mark) of Smithfield, VA, Linda Fricke (Mike) and Susan Warden (Roger); and his siblings, Etta Checotah of Okmulgee, OK, Harry Starr (Sheldon) of Okmulgee, OK and Edward Starr (Linda). He is also survived by grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
