It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rickey Gene Chatman (Beebe, Arkansas), born in Kensett, Arkansas, who passed away on January 24, 2019, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Melvin Foster Sr. and Fay McGowan; his wife Nita Chatman of Beebe; his daughters, Ashley Dodson (Will) of Maumelle, Renee Chatman of Beebe, Alicia Riley (Lionel) of Bentonville and Lelioni Brewer of Omaha, NE.; his grandchildren, Sequoia, Trey and Chase; and his siblings, Elmer Chatman (Edith), Clarance Chatmon (Louise) of Kensett, Mark Baker (Altamease) of Chicago, Vincent Baker (Allyson) of Washington State, Dorothy Berry of Kensett, Martha Chatmon of Kensett, Gertrude Medlock of Kensett, Diane Chatmon of Kensett and Virginia Hurtt of Searcy. He was also cherished by sister that he is also survived by; Gloria Wright, Seretha Bracely of Searcy, and Melvia Louis Taylor (Frank) of Shreveport, LA; four godchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
