He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandparents, Robt Lee and Clara Amanda Nichols Witherspoon; his former wife Verda Owens Sexton; his sons, William Leon Sexton, James Daymond Sexton and Lefty Ray (Libby); his former spouses, Bryan Jennings Norvell, Phyllis Shaw and Violet McVay Sexton; his half-brother William Leon Sexton Peak; his brother James Daymond; his half-brother Jennings Bryan Norvell; his wife Maxine; his daughters, Renee Elmore and Dianne Weed (Ed); his grandchildren, Crystal Belote, Steven Skillern, Sarah Skillern and Trevor Elmore; his great grandchild Keaton Belote; his half-sister Helen Norvell; and also, Gallant Anderson "Man" Sexton (Ruby Alma "Mayme") and Miller Sexton.
