He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Wayne and Christine Meredith (Carter); his son Martin Wayne Meredith; his siblings, Gerald Wayne Meredith, Judy Dale Meredith, Mary Edna McAfee and Shirley Metsinger; and his great grandchildren, Anna and Chloe.
He is survived by: his friend Bud; his wife Carolyn Meredith; his children, Delbert James Meredith of Oklahoma, Elbert Dewayne Meredith of Beebe, Carol Ann Vaughan of Searcy and Dedrid Detina Taie (Farid Taie) of Murphy, Texas; his siblings, Donald, Dukeâ, Marvin, Geneâ and Dorcus Ann Junior of El Paso; and his sister-in-law Sue Meredith of Jonesboro. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that any donations be directed to assist with funeral expenses.
