He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin and Rosie Nell Smith; his siblings, Kenneth, Florence, Agnes, Ruth, Katherine, Helen and Peggy Ann; and his wives, Lorene Williams Smith, Geneva Smith and Donna Smith.
He is survived by: his pets, Rosie and Bobby; his children, Jerry Smith (Judy) of Ward, Shirlee Reeves Burns (Mike) of Sherwood, Joy Slatton of Jonesboro, Mary Bennett (Todd) of Folsom, Teena Smith of Fort Worth, Ashley Joann Smith of Fort Worth, Claude Wayne Smith of Lonoke, Sherry Kuebler of Maumelle, Janis Smith of St. Louis and Johnny Smith of Sherwood; his stepchildren, Gary, Terri, Larry, Trina (Geneva), Sandra, Susan and Jimmy (Donna); and his sisters, Lois Smith of Conway and Joyce Harris of Jacksonville. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home (404 W Dewitt Henry Dr, Beebe, AR 72012).
