He was predeceased by: his parents, Peggy Waters and Lester Waters Sr.; his father-in-law J. H. Franks; his brother Lester Waters Jr.; his brothers-in-law, Tim Jones and Jeff Litton; and his nephew Josh Caruthers.
He is survived by: his wife Karyn Waters; his children, Chester Waters Jr. (Amy Mosley), James Waters (Hyla) and Hannah Swint (Colton); his siblings, Cathy Payne (Lester), Susanne Litton, Darlene Jones, Patricia Jones (Joe) and David Waters (Mary Beth); his grandchildren, Skyler Waters (Kayla), Josh Waters, Angel Waters, Nathan Waters, Carrigan Waters, Ryan Waters, Olivia Waters (Walter), Haley Meeks (Dalton), Nate Jurgens (Kaylee) and Ean Jurgens (Ali); his great grandchildren, Elias Waters and Adi Lou Jurgens; and his mother-in-law Lawanda Franks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2602 W Beebe Capps Expy, Searcy, AR 72143). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the CrossRoads Cowboy Church (3071 AR-5, El Paso, AR 72045).
