He is survived by: his wife Sue Strickland; his children, Suenell Weighill (Donald), Ike Strickland (Sara), Joe Strickland (Andrea), Lori Strickland, Heidi Williams and Spencer Strickland; and his sisters, Liz Smith (George) and Joy Ward. He is also survived by several nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
