He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Barrett and Gladys French McKnight; his wife Sandra Kaye Shannon; his siblings, Esther Jo McKnight, Carolyn Hall and Jamie McKnight; and his son-in-law Steve Atkinson (Scratch).
He is survived by: his children, Michael Regan McKnight of Damascus, Shannon DeAnna Atkinson (Perry County) of Houston and Brooke Caroline McKnight-Gross (Glenn) of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Barrett McKnight and Michelle Rhoda (Cherokee); his great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Bo, Tucker and Max; and his siblings, Anna Jean Thomas, Judy Thornton of Springdale, Freddy McKnight of Alexandria, LA and Roger McKnight of Bee Branch.
