He is survived by: his wife Susan Quarles Holmes of Bearden; his children, Paul Holmes of Arlington, TX, Alan Holmes of Bearden and Shelley Ballard (Jeff) of Bearden; his brother David Holmes of Naples, FL; his grandchildren, Maddie Ballard of Bearden and Stew Ballard (Anna) of Rison; and his great grandchildren, Grady and Curtis Ballard of Rison.
