He is survived by: his spouse Delilah Driver James of Bearden; his children, Tommy James (Natalie) of Harmony Grove and Cindy Stewart (Scotty) of Harmony Grove; his siblings, Henry James (Lois) of Millry and Pat Pipkin of Rogers; and also Ellen Mullens of Harmony Grove. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
