He was predeceased by: his father John Norman Byars; his daughter Jessica Byars; and his siblings, Mike Byars and Shelia Archey. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Byars of Bearden; his mother Jean Byars of Fordyce; his daughter Jillian Byars of Fordyce; his stepchildren, Zack Burkeholder of Bearden and Zoie Strange of Bearden; and his grandchildren, Hayley Childs, Kylee Clark, Kamryn Clark and James Strange.
