He was predeceased by: his father Jay Harvey Pennington; and his brothers, Gary Pennington, Joe Pennington, Harvey Pennington, Jr. and Jerry Pruitt.
He is survived by: his wife Shelia Pennington of Holly Springs; his sons, Brad Pennington (Laura) of Holly Springs and Todd Pennington of Holly Springs; his brother Ricky Pennington of Bearden; and his grandchildren, Tristan Olvey of Holly Springs and Harper Pennington of Holly Springs. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
