He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Rhodes and Iona Rhodes; his sister Evelyn; his brother-in-law Kenneth Savage; his brother Bobby; his sister-in-law Carolyn Jennings; and his granddaughters, Megan Sellers and Candace Quarles.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rhodes of Bearden; his daughters, Kay Butler (Scotty) of Bearden, Karen Allen (Gregg) of Monroe, LA, Katherine Pennington (Wayne) of Camden and Kim Sellers of Camden; and his sister Jean Walters of El Dorado. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
