He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Lee Clemons and Bessie Mae Mosley Clemons; his daughter Gail Byars; and his siblings, Hugh Ed "Snow" Clemons, James Ed "Button" Clemons, Sam Clemons, John Clemons and Eva Nell Ragsdale.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Weeks Clemons of Bearden; his son Harry Clemons, Jr. (Tanya) of Bearden; his son-in-law Brad Byars of Clinton, NC; his grandchildren, Brandon Byars (Dana) of Clinton, NC, Beth Marvel (Caleb) of Springfield, OH and Halie Dodd (Chris) of Sheridan; his great grandchildren, Anniston, Berklee Dodd, Gideon, Silas, Abigail Marvel, Andie Rae and Mack Byars; and his friend Michael Shane Bryant. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
