He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Dixon; his parents, Lloyd Berry and Eleanor Berry; and his siblings, Marion, Rusty Berry and Dorothy Spratlin.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Susan Coit; his children, Jason Berry (Marta), Angela Long (Kevin) and Jane Stubbs (Jon); and his grandchildren, Molly Long, Emily Long, Betsy Offutt (Cameron), Susannah Stubbs and Samuel Stubbs. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, in-laws, cousins, friends and neighbors.
