He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron I. Higdon and Ruth A. Higdon; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Allen and Charolette Higdon. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Higdon; his daughters, Angela Robert (Kai), Amy Meredith (Lynn) and Stormie Swan (Marcus); his grandchildren, Courtney Putnam, Destany Meredith, Noah Meredith, Ashlyn Meredith, Kori Swan, Allen Swan, Almedia Swan, Michael Swan and Kaylyn Swan; and his siblings, Marvin Higdon, Johnny Higdon, Frances Allen, Martha Martin (Jimmy) and Mary Pagan (Jimmy).
