He is survived by: his wife Brenda Barnes; his son Jason Barnes (Beth) of Jonesboro; his brother Tony Barnes of Jonesboro; and his grandchildren, Ellie Barnes of Jonesboro and Jaxon Barnes of Jonesboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
