He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Rouse and Ruth Rouse (Wiggington); his siblings, Robert, Marvin, Lester, Clifford and Louise Rost; and his granddaughter Alison White.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Rouse (Graham); his children, Herman Edward Rouse Jr. of Kingland, Diana Matney of Swartz Creek, Deborah Payton of Benton, Sharon Holmes of Harrisburg and Karen Eldridge of Bay; and his sisters, Pauline Timbs of Trumann and Reba Henderson of Trumann. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
