He was predeceased by: his parents, George Weir Sr. and Amelia Weir Edwards. He is survived by: his stepfather Buford Edwards of Bay, AR.; his sister Laverne Bassett (Bun); his wife Norma Weir; his son-in-law Danny Tharp; and his children, George C. (Sandy Weir), Marsha Tharp of Success, AR, Joe Ed (Donisha Weir) and Jeff (Michelle Weir). He is also survived by His grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
With Covid concerns in our area, the family wants it to be known that the care and condolences of friends and community are already felt.
