She was predeceased by: her husband James Ladd; her parents, Joe Hawes and Ora Lee Pierce Hawes; her brother Louis Hawes; and her grandchildren, Kelsea Hutchison and Derrick Tatum.

She is survived by: her children, Debbey (Cloud Griffin), Sandi (Jack Griffin), Jodi (Brent Hutchison) and Jim (Charlotte Ladd). She is also survived by Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (200 Central Ave, Bay, AR 72411). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
