He was predeceased by: his mother Mary O'Hair; and his nephew Tim Bates. He is survived by: his wife Toliese Burnett; his daughter Shenan Yancey (John); his grandchildren, JB Yancey, Tanner Yancey and Dusty Yancey; his sister Penny Bates (Ronnie); his nephew Ronnie Bates (Stacy); and his niece Aimee Sauer (Michael). He is also survived by three great nieces.
