He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin Moody and Zora Griffin Moody; his son James O. Moody; his stepdaughter Kemberly Sorrells; and his siblings, Charley Moody, Lois Hughes, Mildred Raper and Christine Keen.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Moody; his son Ricky Andrew Moody; his stepson Kevin Clayton Bowman; and his daughter Sandra Billingsly. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
