She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ned and Jesse Frances Arnold (Tamsett); her husband Ed Garrett; her sons, Wes, Leon and Youl Garrett; her brother Amos Arnold; her half-brother Raymond Arnold; her sisters, Joan Hayes, Wilma Arnold, Mildred Garrett, Opie Tatum, Obie Davidson and Arbie Hayes; and her half-sisters, Ruby Vincent, Cora Mae Reaper, Bertha Lee Arnold and Delina Arnold.

She is survived by: her daughter Verletta Huff; her daughters-in-law, Jane and Dorothy Garrett; and her niece Betty Seymore (Donnie). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
