He is survived by: his parents, Bobby Joe Franks and Eddie Jean Jones of Batesville; his children, Michael Franks (Brandy) of Batesville, Nathan Franks of Cushman and Ashley Tharp (Tim) of Cushman; his sister Tammy Birkhead (Roger) of Locust Grove; his grandchildren, Sadie Dildine (Hunter), Kaitlyn Renfrow, Joseph Franks, Hannah Franks, Ashtyn Bell, Ethan Bell, James Eason, Morgan Tharp, Mackenzie Tharp and Ethan Tharp; and his great grandchildren, Eric, Lucas, Liam, Aldean Dildine, Nate Jaco, Chloe Foreman, Emily Franks and Augustus Lewis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
