He was predeceased by: his mother Lucille Powell; his siblings, Peter Powell and Teresa Kay Roese; his aunt Dessie Boyer; and his niece Brooke Roese.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Brewer; his sons, Jason Brewer of Bear, Jeremy Brewer (Amanda) of Bethesda, Joshua Brewer of Bethesda and Joseph Brewer (Evalena) of Bono; and his siblings, Charles Powell of Navasota, Charlene Dotson (Steve) of Navasota, Nicole "Koko" Hegemeyer of Navasota, Ruby Colley of Conroe and Bessie Ruth Conway of Bonham, Texas. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.
