It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Charping Shaw (Batesville, Arkansas), born in Homer, Louisiana, who passed away on October 23, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Tye and Mary Ruth Snyder Charping; her daughter Melissa Shaw Chapman; and her siblings, Leroy Charping and Betty Baker.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas Shaw; her daughters, Renee Martin (Dennis) of Batesville and Sharon Redding (Lindsey); her sisters, Patricia Hickerson (Dennis) of Texas, Brenda Hudson of Ruston and Debra Bailey (Roger) of Colquitt, Louisiana; and her grandchildren, Alisha Clark, Jason Redding, Jeremy Redding, Shane Martin, Sarah Jones, Katie Wiley, Jocelyn Martin and Kristen Martin. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
