Ruth Massey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Massey of Batesville, Arkansas, born in Locust Grove, Arkansas, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ezra and Irene Jones Blevins; her husband Grover Massey; her daughters, Glendine Massey, Peggy Joyce Massey and Cindy Massey; and her siblings, Adrian Blevins, Dwight Blevins, Calvin Blevins, Julia Duchanoy and Fern Harrah.

She is survived by: her daughter Debra Hampton (Steve) of Southside, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Samantha Lee (Dave) of Sullivan, Jennifer Sweet (Tracy) of Mount Olive and Jacob Hampton (Kambria) of Muldrow, Oklahoma. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
