With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Tipton Messer in Batesville, Arkansas, born in Clintwood, Virginia, who passed away on July 8, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John A Tipton and Elizabeth Rose Tipton; her husband Robert Jounier Messer; and her grandson Gregory Messer, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Greg Messer (Jeanie) of Mount Pleasant and Deborah Montgomery (Dennis) of Colorado; and her grandchildren, Allyson Gillihan (Sam) of Colorado, Matthew Montgomery (Eren) of Colorado, Monica Burke (Leo) of Michigan, Henry Gillihan, Peter Gillihan, Chelsea Clouse, Cassaundra Messer and Jessica Hicks. She is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
