It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Nolen Gilbert of Batesville, Arkansas, born in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolen Gilbert and Mimie Gilbert (Hunt); his son Roy Eugene Gilbert; his brother Loy Gilbert; and his great grandchild Sawyer Lee Bisswanger.
He is survived by: his wife Marion Gilbert; his children, Barbara Gilbert, Jerry Gilbert (Candy), Jennifer Kinder (Frank), Kathy Davis (James), Jeff Gilbert and Evelena Heitman (Robert); and his sisters, Mary Brackett and Marie Cowell. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
