It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rosa Halford Turner (Batesville, Arkansas), who passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daly Halford and Willie Poteet Halford; her husband James "Jim" Turner; her grandsons, Andy Payne and Billy Payne; and her siblings, Homer, Lehman, Janice Renie, Hassell Kirk, Jean Hefferin, Willisteen Rariden and Mary Jo Halford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Payne (Phil) of Marietta and Denise Burnett (James) of Batesville, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Jennifer Burnett Branum (Bart) of Hornersville, MO, Dr. John Allen Burnett (Andrea) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Katie Payne of Atlanta, Georgia; and her great grandchildren, Natalie Branum, Payne Worley, Addison Burnett, Claire Branum and Posey Worley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
We would also like to express our gratitude to the staff working in the Covid Observation Unit at the White River Medical Center.
