With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Martin of Batesville, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 28, 2024 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norma Martin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Truman Newberry and Edith Mable Newberry (Hunter); and her husband Alton Alvin Martin. She is survived by: her children, Allen Martin of Pleasant Plains, James Hicks of Floral, Edith Martin of Southside, Robin Dunar of Desha and Frances Bukharia of Knoxville, Tennessee; her brothers, Joseph Newberry of San Diego and Jerry Newberry of Sturgis, Michigan; and her close friends, David, Nancy Branscum, Jerry Bird and Autie Hall. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home (510 E College Ave, Batesville, AR 72501). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Roller Crouch Chapel (510 E College Ave, Batesville, AR 72501).
