He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William Moody and Margaret "Mag" Smith Moody; his former wife Irene Hightower Moody; his grandchildren, Debbie Spooner, Ronald Merchant, Daniel Merchant and Ronnie Benner; and his siblings, Vaughn Moody and Ruby Dale.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Jordan and Gloria Love; his wife Marlene Bailey Moody; his children, Charles Jordan (Linda) of Batesville, Mary Thornton (Don) of Talladega, Frankie Bailey (Denise) of Sidney and Scott Bailey (Shelly) of Melbourne; and his siblings, Lavaughn Moody (Fern) of Batesville and Ida Lee of Witt Springs. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 15 great-great children; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
