He was predeceased by: his parents, Jordan Robert Barnes and Charlene Jackson Barnes; and his son Donovan Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Carmical Barnes; his children, Michael R. Barnes of Batesville, Nikki Whitener (Artie) of Batesville and Suzann Martin of Pleasant Plains; and his grandchildren, Layla Barnes, Price Whitener, Jolee Whitener, Delta Whitener and Cory Martin.
