Max Rutledge Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Max Rutledge of Batesville, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Max Rutledge to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arch Franklin (A. F. "Nick") and Myrtle Swaim Rutledge; and his siblings, Mary Lee Dickey, Doris Virginia Rutledge, Jerry Don Rutledge, Evon Rutledge and Jackie Craig Rutledge.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Wright Rutledge of Batesville, Arkansas; his daughters, Cecelia Wilson (Dennis) of Jordan and Angie Stevens (Jackie) of Little Rock, Arkansas; his sisters, Patsy Sharp of Batesville and Shirley Gould of Avinger, Texas; his grandchildren, Cody Wilson (Francesca) of Austin, Cheyenne Morgan (Paul) of Jordan, Haley Brown (Patrick) of Birmingham and Cassidy Stevens of Birmingham, Alabama; and his great grandchildren, Manon, Max Morgan and Josephine Wilson. He is also survived by four nephews and two nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (1775 Lyon St, Batesville, AR 72501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
