He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim West and Lillie Parr West; his former wife Janette Smith West; his wife Betty Vaughn West; his daughter Becky West Wood; his grandsons, Brandon Wood and Chris West; and his siblings, Oscar, Billy, Thurman West and Juanita West.
He is survived by: his son Jim West (Debra) of Batesville, AR; his grandchildren, Cameron Wood (Amy) and Adam West (Leslie); and his sister Alma Ward of Batesville. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
