Marcus Bowers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marcus Bowers of Batesville, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 30, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dial Bowers and Annabel Bowers (Bone). He is survived by: his wife Glenda Bowers (Guthrie); his children, Marc Bowers (Aida) of McLean, Blake Henthorne (Jennifer) of Little Rock, Stephanie Glenn (Lance) of Barling and Stacie Clyburn of Little Rock; his sister Georgeann Hicks of Batesville; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Calhoon (Austin), Madison Watkins, Connor Bowers, Riley Beneux (Logan) and Sara Bowers; and his great grandchild Isabella Beneau. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (615 E Main St, Batesville, AR 72501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
