She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Slade and Medrith Slade; and her former husband Gerald Rasmussen. She is survived by: her husband Aubrey Jernigan (Bert); her daughters, Sheryl Thompson (Curt) of Batesville and Dana Porte (Noel) of Largo, Florida; her stepsons, Scott Jernigan and Darrick Jernigan of Phoenix, Arizona; her grandchildren, Jonathon Thompson (Traci), Austin Porte and Sara Porte; her stepgrandsons, Keith Jernigan (Sara) and Cory Jernigan (Savanah); her great grandchild Emilia Thompson; and her brother Royce Slade of Sidney. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
