He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard J. Smith and Anna Smith (Wink); his children, Debbie Smith Presley and Gary Smith; his grandson Chris Goodwin; and his siblings, Aubrey Smith and Levana Clark.
He is survived by: his son Eagle Scout; his wife Helen Smith (Jeffrey); his son Michael Smith (Lisa) of Cave City; his stepsons, Randy Nash (Cathy) of Batesville, Jeffrey Nash (Lynn) of Wichita and Bobby Nash (Virginia) of Wichita, Kansas; his sisters, Sue Wright (Tommie) of Springfield and Myrtle Tosh of Batesville; and his grandchildren, Amie Miller, Heather Martin, Carrie Russell, Brittany Hardin, Jessica Lies, Ryan Nash and Aleena Smith. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
