It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joy Blevins Melton of Batesville, Arkansas, born in Franklin, Arkansas, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter J. Blevins and Eva Masonheimer Blevins. She is survived by: her husband James Melton; her children, James Ray Melton (Melinda) of Batesville, Janice Fuller of Southside and Judy Rogers (Randy) of Batesville; and her grandchildren, Brady Melton (Heather), Teighlor Warner (Ryan), Sydney Wood (Tanner), Chance Rogers (Sarah), Chaney Weaver (Josh) and Seth Fuller. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
