He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arant and Ethel Arant; and his siblings, Roy Arant, Maurice King, Eva Smith and Catherine Thorngbyrd.
He is survived by: his wife Dora Arant; his children, Thomas R. Arant, Johnie L. Arant, Rudy L. Morgan, Glenn E. Morgan, Rhonda Arant and Frances Bates; and his sister Dolly Rice. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
