He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Donald Ward and Marjorie Louise Wynd Ward; his sister Susie Buczak; his grandson Jean Yves Ishimwe; and his father-in-law Doyal Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Wright Ward; his daughters, Sarah Jarvis (Ben) of Little Rock, Stephanie Platt (Hunter) of Batesville and Shelby Hill (Brandon) of Batesville; his siblings, Bob Ward (Denise) of Pennsylvania, Dick Ward (Janet) of Ohio and Debbie Inman (Bo) of Ohio; his brother-in-law Myron Buczak of Ohio; his mother-in-law Sarah Drucilla "Drue" Wright of Alabama; his grandchildren, Ollie Kwizera (Sabine), Caden Platt, Zander Jarvis, Aubrey Platt, Corrie Jarvis, Kenzie Platt, Lottie Jarvis and Finnley Hill; and his great grandchild RJ Kwizera.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home (510 E College Ave, Batesville, AR 72501). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the North Heights Church of Christ (200 Warrior Rd, Batesville, AR 72501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to North Heights Church of Christ Youth Group, 200 Warrior Road, Batesville, AR, 72501.
